Yes, admissions at IHM are open and on 7th of August classes are going to start for newly joined students.

  1. From 1st to 3rd August students need to report physically and opt for hostel
  2. On 4th August they will allocate the hostels 
  3. On 7th August classes are going to start

*By 26th July all new candidate's should submit their documents

At IHM there are several clubs like we can be part of Telengana Chef's Association, and there will be many College activities and also in institute ther is a workforce for Horticulture, and many honourable peoples like on last year Members of Parliament visited and there will a SAP Action plan and AKAM in campus each one of the faculty also plant the tress and they encourage students do these kind of activities.

In IHM Hyderabad many technical events takes place like kitchen activities, food festivals and they provided ISO training and Audits and they will also conduct various workshops like Hindi workshop, Annual Chef competition and they also mock interviews for better improvement of students.

At IHM Hyderabad there are several cultural events will take place like food festivals, Leadership program's and various inaugurations and Alumni meet-up's etc. Recently they have conducted Little India Food Fest, Bengali food festival, Panjabi food festival, Divali Dinner, Flower arrangement competitions etc. Through these events not only enjoyment we can also learn various things.

If you joined in IHM you will explore many things in that 3 years of life 

  1. Be regular to college and classes
  2. Learn practically not only theoretical
  3. Interact more with your faculty members and fellow students
  4. Participate in all competitions
  5. Play some games too.

At IHM Hyderabad, faculty is very good and understanding and they help each one of the student to understand the concept in a detailed way. And they provide more practical explanation than theoretical. They help us to get various internships also.

It is actually based on one's own interest and in IHM provides various programmes like B.Sc H&HA, Craftsman courses in Food production and F&B service and M.Sc in hospitality etc. Finally, the best course depends on one's own interest.

No, hosteling is not compulsory at the Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad. However, hostel accommodations are available for both boys and girls. If you don't want to, then you will have to look for a PG, and the environment around the college is good, so you can find rooms there itself.
