The ITM Institute of Hotel Management (ITM-IHM) is a private college. It is affiliated with Mumbai University and accredited by the UGC. The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCT&AN), also known as the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), is a public hospitality school in India. It was established by the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India.

Both the colleges are good for B.Sc . Though the collleges offer different courses. IIHM Pune offfers B.Sc in Hospitality and Tourism Studies. On the other hand,   ITM offers B.Sc in Hospitality Studies nad B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology. In terms of placements, IIHM, Pune offers average salary of INR 3.5 LPA and the highest salary of  INR 5 to 8 LPA, while ITM offers average salary of  INR 3.60 LPA and the highest salary of  INR 2.01 Lacs per month.
