IIHM, International Institute of Hotel Management is one of the largest chain of premier Hospitality and hotel management schools across India that started its journey in 1994. The Institute is a part of Indismart Group Worldwide is owned by Dr Suborno Bose and offers education in Hospitality Management in India and internationally.
IIHM has campuses in Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Goa, Bangkok, Samarkand in Uzbekistan, and Singapore (opening soon) Students passing out are equipped with global hospitality skills that enable easy placements in any hospitality brand across the world. IIHM is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in teaching and global placements. Real-time experience is the key to success in IIHM's learning experience which includes working in own training hotels and resorts attached to the campuses.
IIHM is a Founding Institutional member of the (IHC) International Hospitality Council, London. It offers discerning students excellent opportunities to be a global partner of the University of West London. Following a truly international curriculum, IIHM offers an option to complete BA in Hospitality Management from the University of West London, UK (London). Students are also awarded Bachelor in Tourism Studies from IGNOU India and Students also have an option of undergoing short courses of 1 Year, 9 Months, 6 Months and 3 Months in various Hospitality Skills. IIHM students also have the option of completing their final year in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Thailand, or Canada, after completing and performing well in the first two years in India.
IIHM has a pool of Global faculty in the hospitality and culinary fields headed by Prof David Foskett(OBE) Author of The World famous "Practical Cookery & Theory of Hospitality and Catering", Keith Edgar, a famous Wine Educator from the USA and of International repute, award-winning wine consultant and author, Peter Honigh (MW), Mr. Ron Scott, International Whiskey expert from Scotland and Chef Ranveer Brar are celebrated international faculties of the institute. Legendary Prof David Foskett is the Professor of Eminence at IIHM.
Looking at the pandemic and its effect on our industry IIHM took lead in inaugurating "IIHM Global Center for Tourism and Hospitality Research" to undertake research on topics connected to our industry to boost business which was Inaugurated by Hon'ble Secretary-General of UNWTO Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili where he commended IIHM for its role in the sector and committed UNWTO to stand with IIHM in its work to promote Hospitality. Both the IIHM are good in offering B.Sc Programs, whereas IIHM Pune offers Hospitality and tourism studies. Both IIHM offers good placement. The faculty members are well-experienced in teaching. Considering on Infrastructure, it totally depends on your taste, because they have a good infrastructure
