No, after 2012, coal India have stopped visiting campus for placement as SC have stopped them for campus placement after this they have started recruiting through their online exams.

Yes, you can take admission in other courses. The cutoff for HR is higher than others. You can go for marketing, finance, IT or RM.

It is difficult to say anything about the minimum cut off. Every year, the minimum cut off changes. It ranges from as low as 60-70 percentile to higher percentile of 80. So let's see what they decide this year.
