Applications for the 2024 academic year at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) are open for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses. 

To apply, you can: 

• Visit the JSGP website
• Go to the "Admission" tab
• Click on "Online Application Form"
• Register using an active email address
• To fill out the application form, you'll need to: 
• Enter your name, address, mobile number, password, and other details
• Upload a recent passport-size photo
• Upload any relevant documents

The JSGP also conducts a Public Policy Entrance Test (PPET). This is an open-book, objective-type test that assesses your qualitative and quantitative aptitude, subject knowledge, and more. You'll receive a sample paper after registering, and the online application goes live on December 1st.

JSGP was the first public policy school in India to offer a two-year full-time MA in Public Policy program. The programme is taught by internationally trained faculty. JSGP also offers a three-year undergraduate honors programme in Economics.

The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) is India's first public policy school. 

 It offers a three-year B.A. (Hons.) in Public Policy program. 

 The programme is said to provide students with a deep understanding of public policy issues and practical skills to solve problems and create policies. 

JSGP students are said to be well-equipped to join governments through the civil service selection process or lateral entry. For example, BA Hons Public Policy students can join Macquarie University's BA Social Science programme after their first two years with JSGP.

 This interdisciplinary programme is the first of its kind in India. It provides students with a foundation in social Science theories and their applications. Students learn how to use social Science to solve societal and economic problems. 

JSGP students also get internship opportunities at national and international organizations, including IIM, Deloitte, Delhi Dialogue Commission, and Bennett & Coleman.

Yes, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy offers PhD programme at doctorate level. The programme is designed in a way to promote the thinking ability of the students. The programme demands implementation of new imagination, techniques and methodology. Candidates, who have a master’s degree from a UGC approved university in BA in Economics or Bachelors in Commerce or in allied subjects, or in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates with PG Diploma in Management equivalent to MBA by AICTE with 55% marks are also eligible. Candidates with professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ CFA/ CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks are also eligible. Applicants with more than 3 years of industry / teaching / practicing/ managerial / professional experience will be given preference.
