Jindal School of Government and Public Policy: Courses, Fees, Admission 2026, Placements

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy is first school to offer Public Policy courses to the students in the country. The school is a constituent unit of OP Jindal university. The OP Jindal university is a globally recognised and awarded university. The university offers UG PG and doctorate level courses.

The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) offers five courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels:

JSGP was the first public policy school in India to offer a two-year full-time MA in Public Policy program. The programme is taught by internationally trained faculty. JSGP also offers a three-year undergraduate honors programme in Economics.

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy accepts the following entrance exam scores for undergraduate (UG) courses: 

55% in JSAT

1200+ in SAT

28+ in ACT

The school also accepts JSAT/ACT or SAT scores for admission. Applicants for the MA programme are selected based on their entrance exam scores and UG degree marks.

Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) score or equivalent (SAT/ACT/CUET)

Candidates can take the JSAT exam up to three times within the designated testing period. The highest score obtained among all the attempts will be taken into consideration. 

Yes, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy offers PhD programme at doctorate level. The programme is designed in a way to promote the thinking ability of the students. The programme demands implementation of new imagination, techniques and methodology. Candidates, who have a master’s degree from a UGC approved university in BA in Economics or Bachelors in Commerce or in allied subjects, or in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates with PG Diploma in Management equivalent to MBA by AICTE with 55% marks are also eligible. Candidates with professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/ CFA/ CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks are also eligible. Applicants with more than 3 years of industry / teaching / practicing/ managerial / professional experience will be given preference.

Candidates who wants to pursue BA Hons programme at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy must pay the following fees:

Course Fees: INR 14 Lakh. Students must also pay INR 0.5 Lacs as refundable security deposit.

Hostel Fees: The programme is offered for a duration of 4 years and is a fully residential programme. Fees for hostel is INR 3.1 Lacs per annum.
