No, it is not compulsory. Howevr, it is an added advantage if the student studied Maths in Class 12. Mathematics is a core subject for BA Economics at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, and there are various courses purely based on the mathematical arena. Math and statistics are used in economics.

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy BSc (Hons) is offered in Economics. The specialisations is a mixture of both the aspects of economics and mathematics, and it includes calculus, principles of economics and business economics as subjects. The programme lasts for four years and has eight semesters. Each semesters delivers students with topics in the field of Economics. few of the subjects offered are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian economy, Econometrics, Development economics

Yes, BSc course is available in Jindal School of Government and Public. The UG-level course is available in honors degree lasting for four years. Jindal School of Government and Public Policy BSc course is only available in Economics. The BSc (Hons) course is offered as honors with research, conforming with the National Education Policy 2020. The programme offers students with opportunities for dual-degree and studies abroad programme. The BSc Economics (Hons) allows students to pursue further studies in Economics, Public Policy, Management, Banking and Finance, Investment banking, Statistics, Data Science, etc.

Jindal School of Government and Public Policy BSc fees is INR 4 lakh per annum The fee might include components other than the tuition fee, such as a one-time fee payment of INR 50,000. The BSc admission is  confirmed once the candidate submits the required documents and pay the fees.

Candidates need to pass JSAT conducted by the university for admission to BA (Hons) programme. Selected candidates have to further pass the personal interview round and submit a personal statement for admission.

Direct admission to the BA course at Jindal School of Government and Public Policy is not applicable. Admission to the BA course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam and entrance exam. Jindal School of Government and Public Policy BA admission mainly has three rounds. First candidates are assessed based on personal statement, score in any national/ state-level entrance exam or Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) and performance in PI round.

UG Scholarship:
O.P. Jindal Global University awards Merit cum Means Scholarships (MCM) every year. The MCM Scholarship entitle students to tuition fee waivers. The eligibility criteria includes annual family income, XII board score, JSAT or standardized examination results and faculty interview score. Weightage will also be given to curricular and extra curricular achievements.
