"JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The JIPMER MBBS cutoff is based on the following factors:
- The NEET score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released."

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under the General category for all India quota was 96638. In 2022, it decreased to 302. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 102725 to 5382 for OBC, 205228 to 46025 for SC, 284382 to 111680 for ST, 93122 to 1060 for EWS and 747213 to 137101 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research other than General category are - 5382 for OBC, 46025 for SC, 111680 for ST, 1060 for EWS and 137101 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.
