The total tuition fee for BA LLB ranges betwen INR 3.23 Lacs and INR 5.27 lakh. This fee, however, is sourced from an unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Other than the course fee, students are required to pay the registration fee for the university-level entrance exam. The fee range indicates the fee for different PU-affiliated colleges that offer BA LLB programme to the students.  To be eligible for BA LLB from Panjab University, any candidate who has already passed or is in Class 12, under CBSE or any other recognised board, can appear for the university-level entrance exam. The admission for candidates who are in Class 12 will be provisional and will stand cancelled if they fail to satisfy the requisite eligibility conditions laid down by Panjab University by the date fixed for the admission. For final admission, however, students must have completed Class 12 with 50% aggregate.

 As per the details collated from the verified students' reviews on Shikhsa, BA LLB from Panjab University can be considered a decent option owing to the kind of jobs and salary that the students have received after the completion of the course as the return on their effort and financial investment. According to Panjab University LAW NIRF report 2026, median package received by UG 5-year placements 2025 was 5.5 LPA. A total of 300 students were placed and 36 students were selected for higher studies out of 336 graduating students in 2025.

These colleges are University Institute of Legal Studies (Panjab University, Chandigarh), UIL (PU Regional Centre) and UILS, Swami Sarvanand Giri (PU Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur). There are a total of 240 seats available for the BA LLB programme at AMU, which consists of 120 seats at AMU, Aligarh, 60 seats at Malappuram Center and 60 seats at Murshidabad Center.

According to the press statement released by the Indian Express, Aligarh University member clarified that the university has never followed a policy of reserving seats for Muslims. “It rather reserves 50% seats for internal students regardless of their religion or caste, ”.

The latest cutoff information for LL.B at Allahabad University Law Faculty for round 6 is 556 and Above. Students can check the cutoff list on the official website. Before round 6, the university had already decarded the five rounds with a good score cutoff. The university takes admissions based on the CUET score. SRTMUN admissions to Law courses are offered through two affiliated colleges. Law courses offered at SRTMUN including, B.A. LL.B. (offered at Dayanand College of Law) and B.A. LL.B.  (offered at Shri Shivaji Law College Kandhar) has been released up to MHCET Law Round 3. As per cutoff 2023, the closing score for B.A. LL.B. (offered at Dayanand College of Law) for Round 1 was 66, whereas in 2022, it was 48 and in 2021, it was 84 for the General AI category candidates. Analysing the last three year trends as per MHCET Law, SRTMUN cutoff has been a fluctuating one.
