Candidates cannot get SLAT question papers of previous years for free because the conduction body of SLAT, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) authority, does not release previous years’ question papers of the exam. The questions relevant to SLAT question papers can be found in books designed for the SLAT syllabus. Candidates need to focus more on topics related to the SLAT syllabus to prepare for this law entrance exam. The syllabus includes topics associated with Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge.

No, your marks will not be deducted if you answer a question incorrectly in the SLAT exam because SLAT does not have a negative marking scheme. Candidates also do not lose marks for questions they do not answer. For each correct answer, they receive one mark. The overall scores are evaluated on the basis of the correct options out of a total of 60 marks. However, the total 60 marks of the SLAT exam are scaled down to 50.

Yes, candidates can skip a question in the SLAT question paper if they do not know its answer. However, it is recommended that candidates answer all the questions available in the exam question paper because SLAT does not follow a negative marking scheme. Thus, if they answer a question incorrectly, no marks will be penalised. In case when candidates do not answer to a particular question, they should not waste their time solving or answering it because the time limit to solve a SLAT question paper is very short, which is equal to 60 minutes (1 hour). They can mark such questions for review and answer them later.

Yes, candidates can crack SLAT by solving previous years’ question papers of the exam because these question papers can help them get familiarised with the SLAT exam pattern and types of questions asked in the exam. But SLAT aspirants need to know that solving previous years’ question papers is not enough to score well in the exam. They need to learn the basic concepts about the topics on which questions are asked in SLAT. Doing so will allow them to solve any questions asked in the SLAT question paper, even if these questions were not asked in previous years’ question papers.

All sections of the SLAT exam, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and General English are equally important because they all carry 12 questions and equal weightage. Thus, solving all sections of the SLAT question paper correctly will provide candidates with equal benefits. Moreover, they can attempt all the questions available in the exam question paper because there is no provision for negative marking in the SLAT exam. Here, candidates need to note that the total mark for the SLAT entrance test is 60, which is scaled down to 50. A total of 50 marks are added from the SLAT Writing Ability Test

The question papers of the SLAT exam conducted in previous years cannot be downloaded because the SET exam authority does not release SLAT question papers. However, there are other resources that SLAT aspirants can use to get insights about SLAT question papers from previous years. These resources are practise sets and mock tests available in the books dedicated to SLAT preparation. Some of these books also contain the SLAT question papers from previous years. There are chances of repetition of questions from the past 2-3 years in the latest question paper of SLAT. However, there is no guarantee that the exam conducting authority will do so. Questions from SLAT question papers that are 5-6 years old will not be repeated in the exam because SLAT question papers are based on topics relevant to contemporary and useful areas of education. Here, SLAT aspirants need to note that questions from previous years of SLAT.
