The SET exam stands for State Eligibility Test, which is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges in India. The eligibility criteria for appearing in the SET exam may vary from state to state, but generally, a candidate must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks to be eligible for the exam. Based on the qualifications you have mentioned, you may not be eligible to appear for the SET exam as you do not hold a Master's degree. However, if you do have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks, then you can appear for the exam and if you pass, you may become eligible for the position of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges in India. It's worth noting that passing the exam does not guarantee a job, but it only makes you eligible for the position. You may still need to apply for the job separately and go through the selection process set by the university or college where you wish to work.

Admission in University Law College, Utkal University is based on merit and based on candidates' last qualifying examination.
Students are given admission based on an entrance test and their career marks.
Selection of the student shall be made strictly on the basis of career-cum- entrance test with the below following points:-
1. H.S.C/equivalent -20 marks
2. +2 Arts/science/commerce/equivalent -30 marks
3. Entrance test (General English & G.K.) 50 marks
Selection for admission will be made on the basis of above career-cum-entrance test. Out of total 100 points career evaluation would carry 50 points and entrance test would carry 50 points. The entrance test which carries 50 points include 100 questions on general knowledge, general English and reasonings. The time period for the last is for one hour only.
