Kashi Institute of Technology of Law is primarily famous for its quality education and reputation of high placement index. The institute is known for providing an outstanding ambience of technical education in the entire Uttar Pradesh and especially in Purvanchal. KIT is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The institute offers undergraduate courses such as B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Pharm, and Diploma. KIT is also known for its MBA program, which accepts entrance tests such as UPSEE, CAT, MAT, and KMET (Kashi Management Entrance Test). The highest placement package offered at KIT in 2023 was 18 LPA, while the average placement was between 4.5 and 6 LPA.

MNLU Mumbai admits students based solely on their performance in the entrance examination. Those seeking admission to the UG programme at MNLU Mumbai must take the CLAT, while those seeking admission to the PG programme must take the CLAT PG.  For the LLM programme a candidate's eligibility for admission to the LLM programme is determined by their performance on the CLAT as well as the LLB with a 50% score. In order to register for the CLAT, candidates need to visit the official CLAT website. Out of the 50 seats available, there are 10 supernumerary seats under the Foreign National / NRI / NRI Sponsored category and 2 seats reserved for Jammu & Kashmir permanent residents.
