Admission to law courses at Alliance University is done on the basis of an entrance test. The admission process is as follows:
1. You have to appear in the AUSAT for admission to the BBA LL.B. (Hons) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons) courses.
2. To get admission into the LL. M. course, you have to appear in the ACLAT.
3. You must have a CGPA or GPA of 45% in your previous qualifying course to be eligible.
4. On the basis of the results of the entrance test, the candidates will be called for the interview round.
5. Finally, the selection list of candidates will be published for admission.

Yes, there is provision to award scholarships on a merit basis at Alliance University. The B.A. LL.B. And BBA LL.B. Students who score higher in the law entrance test are provided scholarships in the following manner: ACLAT exam results:
1. The top ten students who score more than 100 marks receive a 50% fee waiver.
2. The top ten students who score between 80 and 99.99 receive a 35% fee waiver.
3. The top ten students who score between 60 and 79.99 receive a 25% fee waiver. (b) ISAT score based Scholarships

The ACLAT exam is required for admission to law courses. This exam is conducted by the Alliance University.
1. The ACLAT is exclusively for admission to the LL. M. course at a university.
2. Admission to the undergraduate course LL.B. Is based on the AUSAT exam rather than this.
3. The ACLAT exam is conducted online more or less every year.
4. To be eligible for this exam, one must have completed their Bachelor of law from a recognised law school.
5. The minimum score required for a Bachelor's degree is 45% to sit in this exam.

The entrance exam of PU B.A. LLB/B.Com LL.B. is administered in three languages English. Hindi & Punjabi. The test consists of objective-type questions which are asked mainly from GK, Current Affairs Legal aptitude and English. Admissions through PU B.A. LL.B. Entrance test are offered on the basis of merit cum preference. The merit list is prepared category-wise, based on the marks scored by the candidates. Best Wishes.

The consortium releases the all India consolidated merit lists for both CLAT UG and CLAT LL. M. The merit list with rank and marks indicates how the candidates perform in CLAT exam. For example, based on the previous few years of merit lists, it can be concluded that only one or two students have been able to score over 120 marks. The highest UG CLAT marks last year were 121 out of 150. For LL. M. the CLAT topper secured 94 marks. A majority of the students secure below 100 marks in CLAT but those who secure 100+ marks in CLAT manage to grab seats in top-ranked NLUs.
