The CLAT is the entrance exam for NLU's law degree, whereas the NIFT is the entrance exam for NIFT's design courses. Both are gateways to completely different careers in fashion and law. There are around seven PSUs that recruit through CLAT for various law posts. Out of these, ONGC and PGCIL offer the best salaries. The salaries offered by PSUs that recruit through CLAT are as follows:
1. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited: For the post of Executive Trainee (Law), the tentative CTC can be up to Rs. 8.15 Lacs.
2. Oil India Limited: The salary of a legal officer is around Rs. 60,000 to 1,80,000 per month.
3. National Thermal Power Corporation Limited: It recruits for the posts of assistant advisory and law officer. The salary scale is around Rs. 46,000 per month and includes many perks.
4. Indian Oil Corporation Limited: The salary of a law officer can be up to Rs. 80,000 per month.
5. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation: The salary scale for an assistant legal advisory starts at Rs. 60,000 and includes 35% of basic pay as additional allowance.
6. Tehri Hydro Development Corporation: The salary of the Executive Trainee (Law) is around Rs. 60,000 to 1,60,000 per month.
7. Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited: The basic salary scale of a law officer is around Rs. 50,000 per month.

The Consortium of NLUs administers the CLAT entrance exam to candidates for enrollment in their law programs. There will be no job opportunities if you only pass the CLAT instead, you will be eligible for admission to a top national law university. After getting into NLU, you can expect very good career growth in the legal field. For instance, you can get admission to the NLSIU Bangalore, which is ranked number one in India for law. After getting your degree from this college, you can expect a salary package of 15 LPA. The National Law University is well-known for its legal career opportunities. The CLAT acts as a gateway to these NLUs.

It is quite challenging to pass the SLAT with one month of preparation, but you can do so with focused efforts. The Symbiosis Law School entrance test is comparably easier than other law school entrance tests, such as CLAT. You need to prepare four sections in total with practice for the SLAT.
1. You can start with the syllabus and previous year's paper analysis.
2. The analysis will help you decide which topics need more focus with the time you have at hand.
3. The SLAT gives significant importance to reasoning; therefore, you can focus on being well versed in both the legal and analytical reasoning sections.
4. For GK, you can pick any good academic GK book like Lucent or Arihant to memorize important events of the last year.
5. For English pick one good practice book and one grammar book to review basic concepts.
6. Concentrate on understanding the concepts of each section for the first two weeks.
7. You can start practicing in the third week, based on the topic you have prepared.
8. Focus on speed, as there is no negative marking and you will have only one hour for 60 questions.

The difficulty level of the SLAT test ranges from easy to moderate, according to an analysis of the question papers from the previous year. About 60 questions total, each worth one mark. You need to attempt these 60 questions in an hour's time. There is no negative marking for wrong answers, which makes it comparably easier than other law school entrance tests. The reasoning section might be challenging as the SLAT test focuses more on reasoning ability. However, the GK and reading comprehension sections are relatively easier than exams like CLAT. This exam can be qualified for with three months of dedicated preparation; therefore, it is relatively easier.
