Minimum qualification for UPSC exam: The candidate must hold a degree from Government recognised Universities or possess an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible to appear for UPSC preliminary Examination. Some Important Points to be noted
The subject covers the substantial syllabus of UPSC exam as a whole as the syllabus of optional paper of law has to reference in other General Studies papers too. (BA/LLB) covers Constitutional Law & Administrative law in the first section and International law in the second section. Whereas the General studies paper II covers Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice, International Relations. ( Both are same). B.A. LL.B. Is a 5 year integrated law course that deals with interdisciplinary topics such as law and arts subjects such as history, sociology, English Economics etc. In B.A. LL.B.
