No scribe shall be provided by the Examination Center. NOTE-The word PREFERABLY was used before class 10th or 12th and this was used because we have 5-year LL.B. Integrated law graduates, who are candidates. It shall be amended as follows:

It should be ensured that the qualification of the scribe should be at least one step below of the qualification of the candidate taking the examination and should no way be connected with humanities subjects like Political Science/legal studies and should not be below matriculate.

KLEE 2023 Counselling
The counselling process for is a single-window seat allotment process. Seats in all the law colleges are allotted via this centralised allotment process - CAP. In online counselling, candidates have to first register their options within the given deadline, then check the allotment result, and report to the college allotted for admission fee payments and document verification. The entire counselling process of KEE 2023 is online. However, document verification and payment of the admission fee is to be done by reporting at the allotted colleges. Eligibility for Law
Law colleges across India have a different selection process and eligibility criteria for admissions at UG and PG levels. However, given below is the basic eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil to secure admission in law courses offered at UG and PG levels:
Eligibility for UG Law Courses: Candidates are eligible to secure admission in UG law courses if they have cleared Higher Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent exam from a recognised board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate.
Eligibility for PG Law Courses: For admission in LLB (3 years) course, aspirants need to be graduates from a recognised university. Also, for admission in LLM course candidates need to possess an LLB or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
Eligibility for Doctorate Courses: For admissions to PhD in Law, aspirants must possess valid postgraduation degree from a recognised university and scored not less than 55% marks in aggregate. They must appear in Research Entrance Test conducted by the university and face interview in order to secure a seat in PhD course.

Students from any background can pursue BA LLB but must have cleared state-level or national-level entrance exams such as CLAT, MHCET, DU LLB, CUET UG, AILET, LSAT, AMU Entrance Exam etc.
After completing 12th from a recognized board, students can apply for BA LLB admission through law entrance exams such as CLAT, LSAT India, AILET, etc or direct admissions. On an average, the BA LLB course fees ranges between 1.5-7 lakhs.
Admission to BA LLB course is done on the basis of scores obtained in entrance exams which are conducted at a national level or state level or at a university level. CLAT, also known as the Common Law Admission Test, is one of the popular BA LLB law entrance exams in India. Candidates who successfully qualify CLAT can get admission into reputed law institutes that provide BA LLB courses in India. Some of the other popular BA LLB law entrance exams are LSAT India, AILET, DUET, etc. Not all admissions to BA LLB course are done on the basis of entrance exams, a few law colleges select BA LLB aspirants based on merit whereas few law institutes provide direct admission to students to the BA LLB program after group discussion/ personal interview/ written test.
Admission to the BA LLB course is provided in three modes. Each of the three modes is explained below:
BA LLB Entrance Exam Based Admission:
Several admission tests for law schools are held at various levels. Some colleges accept national test scores, while others only accept students who pass state or university-level entrance tests. To select candidates, several law schools offer their own institute-level admission tests. Depending on which college a candidate intends to attend, he or she will be needed to take the exam for admission to the BA LLB program.
CLAT, LSAT, AILET, and others are some of the most popular BA LLB admission exams. The majority of BA LLB law entrance exams include multiple-choice questions based on law subjects to assess candidates' legal knowledge, logical thinking, and legal reasoning, among other skills. In India, the majority of the BA LLB law entrance exams last 1.5 to 2 hours with MCQ-based questions.
BA LLB Merit-Based Admission:
There are a few colleges that provide merit-based admission to the BA LLB program. Students get admitted to some law schools in India depending on their 10+2 or equivalent examination result from a recognized board. As a result, after considering applicants' 12th class results, applicants for BA LLB at these colleges are shortlisted. The BA LLB colleges compile a merit list, with applicants with better grade point averages in class 12 receiving priority. All students who desire to pursue a BA LLB degree at one of these universities must focus on achieving the maximum possible grade in their class 12 board examination.
BA LLB Direct Admission:
If there are available seats, a few BA LLB colleges in various states may provide direct admission to BA LLB students. Admission to these colleges is on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are filled. Other than their primary method of admissions, certain BA LLB colleges may perform an additional round of Group Discussion, Written Ability Test, and/ or Personal Interview. In such circumstances, the BA LLB aspirants must pass all admissions rounds to be considered for admission into the BA LLB course. For BA LLB direct admission, a BA LLB law entrance exam is not mandatory but to increase your chances of getting admission to a BA LLB program via direct entry, you must fare well in all of the above-mentioned BA LLB admission rounds conducted by various BA LLB colleges.

Most of the Law schools, the LLB admission is based on the entrance exam. Universities either conduct individual entrance exams for LLB admissions or accept the score of any national-level entrance exam. Several other factors like the interview, performance in 12th standard, etc also play a major role in the process of admission.

Successful completion of graduation in any discipline.
Minimum aggregate marks in graduation are required for general category and the marks are relaxable for reserved categories.
There is also a criterion for minimum marks required in graduation which may vary from institute to institute.
There is no age limit for taking admission in this course.
