You can check the CLAT LLM 2026 syllabus on the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The syllabus is also available on law education portals. It includes Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Torts, Contracts, Family Law, Property Law, Company Law, and more. The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in 2 hours.

The Banaras Hindu University conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) to grant admission into their BSc LLB program. The BSc LLB application window opens in February-March leading to the May-June examination period. Candidates from the general category need to pay an application fee of INR 500-600 when submitting their application through the online system. The UET examination contains 150 multiple-choice questions which distribute 50 questions equally between Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology content. Anyone studying law or is about to study law can study Corporate Law. To study a three-year or five-year law course, candidates must ensure that they have completed Class 12th from a recognised board and have cleared entrance examinations such as CLAT, AILET etc. Similarly, those who wish to pursue Corporate Law at the postgraduate level can pursue it after completing LLB/integrated LLB from a recognised university.
