The Department of Law at Panjab University has not released the 2023 placement statistics. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2023 for the Law department. As per the report, 210 LLB and 1 LLM students were placed during the Department of Law Panjab University placements 2022. The median package offered to LLB and LLM students was INR 2.30 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively. A fluctuating trend was recorded in the median package offered to LLB students over the past three years (2020 to 2022). Likewise, the median package for LLM has been fluctuating over the past three years.

The minimum cut off scores for PU LLB 2024 entrance exam is 20 out of 100 for General/ OBC category, and 15 out of 100 marks for SC/ ST/ PwD categories.Have passed FA/F.Sc./ 'A' Level or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by HEC with 50% passing marks and with a validity date for admission. Must have appeared in the PU Admission Test conducted by Punjab University. The candidates must provide equivalence/verification of their academic documents from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) at the time of admission.

Yes, a candidate can get a seat at Punjab University in Department of Law with percentage of 86 in LL.B in PU LLB Entrance Exam. Because the cut off is 65 percentage in LL.B. Minimum sixty five percentage in B.A. LLB is good score and have more chances of getting better opportunities than one who scored less. You can get good Law College on India if you can score well in B.A. LLB, any how entrance exam will be considered for admission but still it adds up value. The PU total marks is for 120 and need to score 75 in PG or BP

The cut-off marks are different for different castes like 36.4 for General, 34.9 for SC, 38.5 for ST and 38.1 for other Backward castes. The minimum cut off scores for PU LLB 2023 entrance exam is 20 out of 100 for General/ OBC category, and 15 out of 100 marks for SC/ ST/ PwD categories. Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weightages and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance Test marks. Having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate for general category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category. Since every wrong answer carries a negative marking of -0.25. The seat intake for PU LLB Punjab University is 480 seats for year 2024. And the mode of application is through online. The entrance test and counselling is done offline only. And to apply for entrance test the application fees is 2175 rupees. The test can be written in three languages English, Hindi and Punjabi. Yes, non-Maharashtra residents can apply for MH CET Law (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law) for admission at SNBP LAw College. The MH CET Law exam is open to both Maharashtra residents and non-residents of Maharashtra. Eligibility criteria may vary depending on the category of candidates.

For 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme:

  • Indian Nationals: Candidates from any state in India are eligible to apply

For 3-Year LL.B. Programme:

  • Indian Nationals: Candidates from any state in India can apply.
