The eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in India is :

1. Educational Qualification:

Lateral Entry to B.Tech (After Diploma)

Candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering can take lateral entry into the 2nd year of B.Tech.

4. Most colleges take admission through JEE Mains or state-level engineering entrances.
