1)Firstly I would like to advise you that you should only apply for the subject from which you have pursued the master's degree. So, if you have got master's in life sciences or related to this, then you have made a good decision to appear in CSIR NET Life Science Exam.

I would suggest that students aspiring for CSIR UGC NET JRF EXAMINATION Life Science 2020 should -
Focus on their concepts and fundamentals primarily and understand the topics well than simply mugging up everything. Select the topics you are good at and perfect them first accordingly and so on. Refer Quality CSIR NET Study Material for preparation. Practice lots of questions (MCQs) topic wise pertaining to CSIR, GATE IISC, JNU etc. As they help in strengthening the understanding of concepts and helps save time in understanding the question on exam day. 2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences (702)
3. Life Sciences (703)
4. Mathematical Sciences (704)
5. Physical Sciences (705)
The applicability of NET scores is limited to above subjects. So the all subjects covers at PG level in Life Science are applicable for Life sciences (703). So what is the need of doing M.Sc. Again if you have qualified the CSIR NET in Life sciences subject.

You should typically start the preparations for the exams 4-5 months before the intended date of the exam. It is always easier to start with cell biology and molecular biology followed by biochemistry, cell communication and cell signaling. It is always advisable to clear concepts as most of the questions are on concept-based problems
Know the CSIR NET syllabus well. You must memorize and mug up the syllabus tell you why its crucial. Here, if you know the syllabus. You'll know which is important point and topic and which one you can drop or read later. So, you won't waste your time on topics that are less important
