Basic eligibility to apply for M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Hyderabad is that candidate should be a graduate with a minimum pass mark of 50% in graduation with minimum 50% marks in English (compulsory or optional subject). Eligible candidates need to appear for a written test conducted by University of Hyderabad. Candidates are selected based on the marks obtained in written test conducted by the university. Interested candidates can apply online with required information.

Hello Yukta, I can totally sympathise with you. I understand your angst and desires. Frankly speaking, best course is to talk directly with your mom & dad and explain to them desires. I will give you some ammunition. As per data of HRD ministry, 50% of fresh engineering graduates remain jobless. So what big fun in doing engineering. For the academic year 2017-18, engineering has been displaced by Science as preference for graduation. There are enough opportunities of a job for the experts of english language.
