Sorry but with B.Sc degree you won't be able to apply for MA. You need to have BA (Hons.) in English to apply for the same.

MA English is offered as a full-time course in Rabindra Bharati University. You can search for other colleges offering correspondence course.

To pursue any Master's degree, be it a regular or in distance learning, you must hold a graduation degree (3 years). A Diploma is not enough to pursue Master's degree, you must get a Bachelor's degree first. Hope this helps.

There is no entrance exam for admission in SGBAU for M.A English. Admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation.

The syllabus includes literature and language awareness. Language awareness is knowledge of grammar. Try to study a good grammar book such as Practical English Usage by Michael Swan, 4th edition, OUP. Literature awareness includes knowledge of Literary works and literary terminology.

I think you should opt for MA because then only your English (Hons) will be more beneficial and effectful. After Master's degree, you can become a lecturer by clearing UGC NET entrance exam. You can also do Ph.D.
