Yes, you can apply for CSIR NET Exam but to get the benefit of the exam, you have to clear your all backs within 2 years. Below, I have provided you CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria. Integrated BS-MS, BS-4 Years, BE/B.Tech, B.Pharma MBBS or an Equivalent Degree to apply for the exam. Candidates must satisfy the minimum percentage criteria which is 55% Marks for General and OBC Candidates and for ST/SC/PWD Candidates is 50% Marks. Candidates, who have enrolled in M.Sc. Courses or have completed any of the above-mentioned qualification as on the closing date of online submission of CSIR NET Application Form, can apply for the exam. Students who are pursuing in M.Sc. Their result should be declared within two years of CSIR NET Certificate release date. Such candidates will have to submit the attestation format of their Masters degree duly certified by the Head of Institute/Dean/Head of Department from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared. Hi Pankaj, Eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Horticulture is that candidate must be pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) (Hons. ). Or B.Sc. (Horticulture) or B.Sc. (Biotechnology) (Hons. ). (4 years) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. I am afraid that you won't be able to change your stream and you may not be able to take admission in M.Sc. Horticulture. However, LPU is a first private University to get ICAR approval: Under the aegis of ICAR, LPU offers three programs in horticulture at PG level. These are:
