M.Sc. Applied Microbiology is a 2 year post graduate microbiology course. The basic eligibility criteria for this course is that the candidate must possess B.Sc. (Hons) / B.Sc. With 10+2+3 pattern with two of the subjects in its syllabus like Botany, Zoology, Biotech, Microbial, Chemistry, Industrial Microbial, Lif Science, Environmental Science. With at least 50% marks in concerned degree. The syllabus for the entrance test of the course are as under:

If you're having a BSc degree in mathematics, only then will you get admission into M.Sc Mathematics as maths is the main subject and is required in B.Sc final year, if a candidate wants to do M.Sc in the same.
In addition, you must first check with the cutoff percentage as yours is a bit low.
