To pursue M.Tech Roboics Engineering in UPES you should have minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th & B. Tech / BE in Electronics / EEE / Mechanical / CSE/ Electrical / Instrumentation & Control Engineering. UPES takes admission through two pathways: GATE score and through its indvidual online entrance exam i.e UPESMEET. Last date to apply for UPESMEET is April 6th 2016 .The candidates who have valid score of Gate exam are exempted from UPES MTECH Engineering Entrance Test. You can check more details on its website.

Most of the institutes (All IITs, NITs, IISC & other reputed colleges) use GATE score for admissions in M. Tech programmes. Some institutes (Mostly IITs) have the provision of 30% of marks in BE/B. Tech in final allocations of seats.
In MNIT, GATE score is used for admission but min. 6.5 CGPA is required (due provisions for various categories).

If you want to study abroad, you need to keep few things in your mind. Those are as follows…
1. Regarding where you can study - It has to be decided based on your interest, basic facilities, requirements, pocket and scholarships, etc., various factors play role here.!
2. Regarding subjects in demand - All have equal importance and demand in ECE. so, go with your interest.
Here the question is what is the scope for scholarship?

The purpose of the M.Tech course is to give a specialized training in the field of engineering. Quite a few institutes intake candidates on the basis of the various entrance exams. Most of them also conduct a personal interview round. Normally only the cream from the lot is successful in securing admission in reputed institutes.
General Eligibility Criteria for Indian students for M.Tech Course
