M.Tech Eligibility

IIT Bhubaneswar offers M.Tech course to students at the PG level. It is offered for 2 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for M.Tech at IIT Bhubaneswar, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of the course. Candidates must have a BTech degree with at least 60% aggregate from a recognised university. 

Aspirants must pass BTech./BE/AMIE degree in any discipline or MCA or MSc/MS degree in CS/IT/Mathematics/ Physics/Statistics with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for M.Tech for Working Professionals programme at IIIT Kottayam. Candidates should also be currently employed. The institute only considers the employment acquired after the qualifying degree is awarded.

Aspirants must complete Class 12 in Science with Mathematics/ Diploma or equivalent educational qualification to apply for Integrated M.Tech for Working Professionals programme. Aspirants must be employed in Industry/ R & D/ Academia at the time of applying.

No, candidates who wish to apply for admissions to the NIT Srinagar PhD course are not required to cleared a ME or M.Tech course to be eligible. Candidates who have appeared for a MSc course in the relevant stream can also apply for PhD admissions. However, such candidates must appear for the GATE or UGC NET before applying for NIT Srinagar PhD admissions.

BRCM College of Engineering and Technology M.Tech admission criteria has to be fulfilled to get admission. The eligibility and selection requirements are as below:

• BRCM College of Engineering and Technology M.Tech eligibility - BTech with a minimum aggregate of 50%
• BRCM College of Engineering and Technology M.Tech selection process - GATE

No, BTech is not a mandatory UG level course to be eligible for IIIT Bhubaneshwar M.Tech admissions. Candidates who have cleared a BSc, BPharm, MCA, MSc or MA course in the right disciplines are also eligible to apply for M.Tech admissions at International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar.

KCG College of Technology has an entrance based admission process for MTech. The minimum eligibility requirement for the course is Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the same domain froma  recognsied university. The college accepts TANCET scores for M.Tech admissions.

The minimum eligibility for MTch at Indian OIL Campus, Bhubaneswar, ICT, Mumbai is passing UG with atleast 50% aggregate and passing Class 12 with atleast 75% aggregate. The selection criterai for the same is entrance based.

The different course eligibility for BTech and M.Tech at Indian Institute of Technology Jammu admissions is as shown here:

• BTech: Pass Class 10 & Class 12 with a minimum score of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
• MTech: Graduate from a recognised University (in a relevant degree) with a minimum score of 65% (60% for reserved categories) or a CGPA of 6.5 (6 for reserved) out of 10.

The eligibility requirements for admissions into M.Tech courses at Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MSRUAS is students should complete their BE/ BTech degree with a decent scores. 

Also, for selecting the students the institute follows the rules and regulations according to the MSRUAS, i.e., RUASAT/ CUET PG/ GATE  + Counselling.
