Yes, IIIT Guwahati provides relaxation to students who belong to reserved categories. Students who belong to the open category must have attained a minimum of 60% in graduation. To support students belonging to reserved categories, the university provides a 5% relaxation. Thus, they must have attained a minimum of 60% in graduation.

To be eligible for the M.Tech course from Chennai Institute of Technology, students must qualify BTech/ BE in a relevant engineering degree with at least 50% marks.
