Admission is through counselling based on rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Lateral Entry (UPTU SEE).
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have passed 3-years Engineering Diploma or passed B.Sc and class 12th with Mathematics and obtained not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in for SC/ST).

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry:
The students who have scored 60% and above in the Diploma in engineering course from State Board of Technical Education or any other recognized institution can apply for the graduation program.
Only a pass in Diploma is enough for the students from backward communities.
Final year candidates are also eligible to attend the test.
How to prepare:
Revise the subjects you have studied in your diploma course.
