For Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, there is an entrance exam (AP EAPCET & TS EAMCET) to get admission into top colleges in these states.based on your rank in that entrance test, you will get your slot in a college according to your wish through web options process.As CSE has more preference among all branches, most of the students compete for the CSE- (Alligned) branches first.to get a seat in CSE, you have to perform well in the entrance test. According to your family background, economical status and your category, scholarship will be alloted.

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), the following criteria must be met:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the following: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (for general category). Relaxation may be given for reserved categories.
Entrance Exam:
- Admission is based on the rank obtained in JEE Main, which is a common entrance test for engineering institutions
