Okayish college for okayish students.
Placements: 70% of students were placed, with the highest salary package being 56 lakhs and the lowest at 3 lakhs. The top recruiting companies included Atlassian, DE Shaw, and JP Morgan. The number of students doing internships was relatively lower, around 30 to 40%, and the top roles offered were not very varied.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okayish, with air conditioning available in some but not all. There is a central library with a collection of books, and Wi-Fi is accessible, although it's not available in the classrooms. The hostel is not so good very small and the food is okayish but it has laundry services and other facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful or knowledgeable. Classrooms and classes don't feel like that of engineering but more of school. Teachers don't take much initiative. Semester exams are not so tough and the questions are generally based on formula.
Other: Events don't happen at a big level.

Downfall of MAIT (old MAIT vs new MAIT).
Placements: Placements were fine till 2022, but decreasing at an alarming rate because of a few cheating incidents also they are increasing the number of seats every year in college making it hard to get along the placements. Amazon blacklisted this college because students were cheating in placement exams. A few other small startups also did the same.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not at all good. Only 1 common ground for all types of sports, only 1 basketball ground. Each branch has a separate block but still you will feel that the college is relatively small and compact. There is only 1 hostel for college but it's expensive like rates are high up to Rs. 2,50,000 which makes it quite affordable.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and pretty qualified some of them are even from IITs but yes few teachers lack passion. Exams are easy to crack as you can easily get a 9 CGPA at 75 and above 40 marks for internals and 60 for externals. You can easily get 35 marks in internals.
Other: You can choose MAIT if you are not able to find good options. I would say it's best in IPU but as compared to JAC colleges it was bad. The number of seats in college in tech branches is increasing earlier there were 180 students in CSE and IT now there are over 700 students, comparing a batch of 2025 with 2022.

It's not as good as I expected, it to be or as it is projected.
Placements: Placements are majority off-campus, and very less companies visit the college. But placements do happen, and the placement cell is active. This year the maximum placements are above 50 LPA with about 100 students placed above 10 LPA. This record is shown everywhere.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. Its bad in every aspect be it Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, or library. The whole college has only one Wi-Fi and its not working. Its range is also very less. College is very small and sports are not even their slightest concern. Canteens are okay.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. Curriculum majority of mostly outdated. Exams happen a lot and if you want to score marks it is pretty easy. Scoring CGPA is a piece of cake, if you want only marks then it's good. You have to get more than 40 to pass a subject out of 100 which 40 are internal and 60 are external. If you are a bit sincere also you will also get more than 35 on every subject easily.

Good college, excellent infrastructure, and best teachers.
Placements: As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI Bank, Genpact, Amazon, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package goes around 40 LPA-50 LPA while the average is around 14 LPA-15 LPA. Almost all get placed while the rest opt out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.
Infrastructure: The hostels are great and well-equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, geysers, clothes dryers, etc. Some hostels also have AC, while others have a radiant cooling system. The process of hostel location is very simple, you just have to go to the hostel office after admission.
Faculty: Faculty is great, approachable, and helpful. They also keep bringing corporate and competitive opportunities for the students and also help in bettering your performance in them, on approaching. The exam structure has multiple components to make it more comprehensive and the weightage of each component depends on the course outline and the faculty.

Good college to enhance your future.
Placements: We have a dedicated placement cell that makes sure that the students are placed in the top companies with good packages. Companies like ZS, Paytm, etc., are involved in placements. In mechanical engineering, there is an added advantage for girls. Some companies offer extra benefits for girls in my course.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, well-maintained laboratories, and library which offers a wide range of books. We have 4 food outlets and a canteen. The food is very tasty. Hostel service is limited for boys and it is very good. We have a doctor room and sports are supported.
Faculty: College focuses on studies very much. Dedicated faculty members help in problem-solving and provide knowledge. Semester exams are of good level for testing the student's knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant making us ready for future challenges. Communication skills are also polished by teachers getting us ready for interviews.

MAIT - Your last option to make it.
Placements: There are a lot of companies who visit the campus but they don't hire as many students. A big company named DE Shaw came to this college and recruited only 1 student out of 150. It provided a salary package of more than 50 LPA. This is the harsh placement scenario in our college. The mass recruitment is done but no one wants that.
Infrastructure: There is no good infrastructure. We have a very small campus area. The hostel mess food is great. The hostel is very expensive to afford here. You have to look out for a PG or a flat outside because it is not worth the money. This college is also not great.
Faculty: Mostly teachers or professors here don't wish to teach and come only because of their jobs. They don't have that charisma or great teaching skills. Students also lack the winner motivation to study. Our department is the worst at giving internal marks. They give good marks to the management students or teachers pet.
Other: This year, the fest was great and Raftaar came to our campus. I was on the fest organizing team. The experience was good. Choose this college when you have nowhere else to go to. Keep this as your last option.
