Hello Rohini, I am afraid the college predictor available for predicting the branch and the college that one can get is based on the MHT CET results and is applicable for fresh admissions in the first year of engineering. The predictor for Diploma holders who are in line to seek admission directly into the second year of four year degree course in different engineering colleges across the state is not available. But going by the percentage that you have mentioned at about 68 and above I am sure you will get admission in reasonably good college. Best wishes to you.

Yes, Why not just give JEE Mains exam and try to score above 87 percentile to get into lower branch-like mechanical. Above 94 percentile will land you in IT branch. And above and equal to 95 percentile will fetch you CE (computer engineering branch).

Your chances to get JBIMS are high. JBIMS initially shortlists on the basis of their CAT or MAH CET score. In order to qualify the phase one of the selection processes, the candidates must secure the minimum cutoff in either of the two exams mentioned above. The cutt off vary for domicile and category. For MH domicile it is 95 and above for MH-CET. Shortlisted candidate in phase 1 ( I. e entrance score) -are then called for personal assessment where they have to clear the Group Activity, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds. You have to do good in second round ( GD, Interview) despite high MH-CET score. The weightage form

If you wish to change your branch, then one and the only deciding factor is your first-year CGPA. It should probably be more than 8.5, and also depends on how many students have applied for the same, for complete procedure, you have to visit the student section and they will direct you in the best ways. I wish it will help you.

Hello Zishan, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering. But I am afraid that your approach is not perhaps on the right path. All the colleges where a student gets admission have stipulations about attending a minimum number of classes. This in fact is a prerequisite for appearing in the examination that is conducted by the concerned University. Hence officially no college will tell you not to attend college and just come for the examination. In addition, the regular distance education mode is not available for engineering. In view of this, I feel that you need to rethink your future and
