Mahindra University, Hyderabad has different eligibility criterias for admissions to different courses. Hence, the cut- off for different examinations would vary depending on the number of students participating and their performance. For B.Tech courses, JEE/ SAT/ ACT score cards are acceptable. For BBA, BA in certain specializations, SAT scores are acceptable. However, these are not mandatory and candidates can be admitted through previous year’s qualifying marks. For BA LLB, MULET score card is important. GATE or ECSE- MU is required for M.Tech. A valid CUCET score is required for MA in Education Programs and various others. Ca

Admission in Mahindra University, Hyderabad depends on the performance of the candidates in the JEE examination. This can very every year depending on the participation of the students and their merit. However, JEE alone is not the criteria for admissions in B.Tech courses. Previous year qualifying marks or even the SAT/ ACT score cards can also suffice. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) conducts counseling for the shortlisted candidates utilizing their All- India Rank. The counselling is provided during each round of seat distribution.

For B.Tech admissions at Mahindra University, Hyderabad you need to have a competitive score in JEE (Mains) and should be eligible to write JEE (Advanced) or you should have Top All India Rank in JEE (Mains). Besides that, a candidate is eligible to enroll for B.Tech. courses if they have at least 60 % or above in class 10th from a recognised board/ university. If a student could not sit for JEE/ SAT/ ACT, they are still eligible for admission if they have 80% or above marks in class 12th.

Mahindra University, Hyderabad, in partnership with Cornell SC Johnson College of Business in USA and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany provides the 2- year executive MBA course for experienced executives or business owners with more than 5 years of work experience. Admissions to the course begins every year on September and can take up to 2-3 rounds of selection. This year, the application deadline for the 3rd round of admissions was 15th September, 23 and the results were announced on 20th September, 23. The admissions are now closed for the current year.

Yes, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is required for admissions at Mahindra University, Hyderabad. JEE holds examination at two levels, JEE Mains and JEE advanced for admissions to undergraduate courses. For admissions, candidates should have qualified JEE (Mains) with satisfactory score and should be eligible to write JEE (Advanced) or Top All India Rank in JEE (Mains). In case a candidate did not qualify for JEE, he/ she sit for other entrance tests such as SAT or ACT for admissions to B.A./ B.Tech. courses.

The candidates' All India Ranks are used to determine who gets admitted to the B.Tech programme. This is determined based on the JEE Mains score.

Private Engineering College Mahindra University, Hyderabad is situated in Bahadurpally, Hyderabad. It was started in 2013 and has a connection to JNTU. As of 2019, MEC has seen two batches successfully finish.
