What's new at the University of Hyderabad? MBA applications 2023 are available online and the last date to apply for the same is Jan 31. The GATE 2023 entrance exam will take place on Feb 4 and Feb 5 and then again on Feb 11 and Feb 12. NTA has released the exam dates for CUET UG 2023. The exam will be conducted between May 21 to May 31. CUET PG 2023 exam dates have been announced by NTA. The exam will be held from Jun 1 to Jun 10, 2023. CUET-PG 2023 registration starts in mid-March 2023.

Established in 1974, the University of Hyderabad (commonly known as Hyderabad University) is a Central University recognised by the UGC. It is accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by the NAAC. At present, the University of Hyderabad offers integrated, PG and doctorate courses across its constituent schools and departments. Admission to most of the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by UoH. In addition to this, it also accepts several national-level entrance exams for admission to MBA, MCA, MTech and PhD programmes. University of Hyderabad admission process begins in June every year. University of Hyderabad Infrastructure
University of Hyderabad campus is spread across 2,300 acre. The university has a large area covered under forest and three seasonal lakes. Below mentioned are some of the major highlights of facilities offered by Hyderabad University:
- Library: Library has a collection of over 4 lakh books which include textbooks, journals, monographs etc. It also consists of more than 25,000 books, e-journals, e-books, reference books, serials, theses & dissertations, back volumes of journals. The university provides wi-fi and other advanced facilities to its students.
- Hostel: There are a total of 21 hostels for students, out of which 13 are for boys and 8 for girls. All the basic facilities are provided in the hostel and the rooms are quite comfortable.
- Canteen: A total of 7 canteens are facilitated in the campus which provide breakfast, lunch and dinner facility to the students.
- Infrastructue: There are a total of 4 multi-purpose auditoriums with a capacity of 700, which is mainly used for cultural events. The campus also comprises a shopping complex.

University of Hyderabad Faculty
Hyderabad University consists of around 400 highly-qualified faculty members, produced over 1,168 research publications and around 66 books last year. These faculty members have also contributed to the awards of 113 PhD, 174 MPhil, 113 MTech degrees and over 650 postgraduate degrees. Most of these professors are qualified from eminent institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Hyderabad University faculty members earned research funding for the research projects totaling to 440 with a total sponsorship amount of INR 112.65 crores from various national and international agencies.
