Yes, for the two-year MSc programme available at UoH, admission is completely subject to scores obtained by the students in CUET (PG) exam. Followed by this exam, admission counselling is conducted in the order of merit based on the CUET scores, category wise intake and the admission criteria defined by the University of Hyderabad. Candidates shortlisted for admission counselling must pay the prescribed fee on the Samarth portal. Seats are then allotted in the order of merit and the fee paid by the candidates who could not secure a seat after the counselling process is refunded accordingly.

According to what I've read, the department conducts a lot of research that is published in prestigious publications and at the university. I vouch for the University of Hyderabad as a fantastic learning environment with all the conveniences. The university's terrible food is its sole flaw.

Candidates seeking admission must at least have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with first class (or its equivalent with 60% aggregate) in any discipline recognised by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE on or before June of the year of admission.
