Communication Design is the strategic thinking behind how a brand or message is delivered across different channels like print, video and web. But Visual Communication Design is actually a subset which is focused only on using images, colours and typography to create the visual elements that tell that story. Basically, Communication Design is the 'what' and Visual Communication Design is the 'how' of the message.
