Event management in India has strong growth due to demand in weddings, corporate events, and entertainment industries. With the right skills, you can definitely build a successful career.

Studying in Canada gives you global exposure, which adds value. Knowledge of Business Management helps in planning and execution.

Many students also come from B.Com and Management Studies backgrounds. If you want to go deeper into academics, PhD in Management is also an option later.

I'm not sure about Chandigarh University, but at Lovely Professional University, you can pursue B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication after completing your 12th. The eligibility is generally around 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English or an equivalent qualification. The programme is designed in a practical, hands-on way where students get exposure to media production, reporting, digital content creation, and communication skills, helping them build confidence and prepare for careers in journalism, media, PR, and the digital industry.

Yes it is possible to get a PR in Australia after 3 years. You must prove that you have lived and worked in the regional area for 3 years on a "Skilled Work Regional Visa (Provisional) - Subclass - 491". Working and living on this visa for 3 years leads you to getting a "Skilled Regional Visa - Subclass 191" which is the Permanent Residence Permit in Australia. However, direct pathways like the Skilled Independent Visa (189) or Skilled Nominated Visa (190) can sometimes grant PR faster - depending on occupation demand and points

Yes its not important for applicants to hold film related degree to apply to AFI. However its still recommended to demonstrate experience relating to discipline of applicant's choice.

You can also apply even if you don't hold bachelor's degree but you will get Certificate of Completion after graduating instead of MFA degree in that case
