Institute of Advanced Research has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.Sc.Candidates must have passed 10+2/ Intermediate Science/ Two-year Pre-University Exam/ High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University or equivalent exam in the Science stream with the mentioned marks and with a minimum of any 2 of the following subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Mathematics is optional) from a recognised board.
Candidate must have passed any of the qualifying examinations with English as one of the subjects.
5% relaxation will be given to Minority students as per the prevailing government norms.
Applicants having less percentage than 60% (or as per Gujarat State Government norms), may make contact the concerned department Admission Counsellors for discussion on eligibility for admission.
Note: Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with minimum five subjects can also apply.
