A PG degree holder is not allowed to take up another degree from Loreto College. It doesn't matter whether candidate have taken degree from Loreto College or any other. Also, it doesn't matter if candidate is a student of Calcutta University. If a candidate already has a PG degree in any field, he or she is not eligible for admission in Loreto College.

There is an Entrance exam which is mandatory for few courses at Loreto College. Entrance test is conducted by college only. It is mandatory to clear the test, to be eligible for admission in the course. Although in few courses, if candidate is a recent Calcutta University graduate, then entrance test is not required.

BESC provides only two master courses namely MA English and MCom. For MA English, candidate must be a BA English (Hons) graduate from a recognised university and must have passed 6^th semester in the year 2022 or after. For MCom, candidate must be a BCom (Hons) graduate from a recognised university and must have passed 6^th semester in the year 2022 or after.

Iam sorry, Poonam. No master's degree can reduce the duration of any course. If you have a master's degree, the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) course usually takes 2 years to complete. A master's degree does not reduce the course duration.
