This would depend on your interest areas and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research/academics/coding/ analytics/big data area then MCA is better. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better.

This would depend a lot on your personalty traits & interest areas. Each MBA specialisation needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession say if you are outspoken and like traveling, meeting people, take target pressure then Marketing could be a preference & is you are a peoples person wherein you like counseling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk top job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting so do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.

Hi Sanjana,
PGCET is not accepted by SDMIMD. You have to go through MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT exams. All these exams are accepted by SDMIMD. You can write any of those exams and apply for the college. 75% in BBM is a good score.

It is a very low CAT score and you may face difficulties in admission. As you have a decent academic profile and with a decent CAT score around 75 to 85 percentile will get into a top B-school.
