At GIBS Bangalore, the placement process is pretty structured but still student-friendly, nothing too complicated.

first they do pre-placement training, like resume building, mock interviews, communication practice, and aptitude prep. then companies start coming to campus for recruitment drives. students register for companies based on interest and eligibility.

  • pre-placement training (resume, mock interviews, skills)
  • company registrations and shortlisting
  • aptitude test / GD (based on company)
  • personal interview round
  • final selection and offer letter

overall, it's step by step and they guide students through the whole process, so you're not le

Yes — PIBM Pune accepts gap years for admission into its PGDM/MBA programmes, provided you meet the standard eligibility criteria (minimum 50% marks in graduation, valid scores in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA, and performance in GD/PI).

 How Gap Years Are Viewed

  • Academic Requirement: As long as your graduation marks meet the cutoff, a gap year does not disqualify you.
  • Documentation: You may be asked to explain the reason for your gap (preparation for exams, work experience, personal reasons, etc.) during the interview.
  • Evaluation: What matters is how productively you used the gap — e.g., preparing for competitive exams, gaining certifica

It's important to set realistic expectations here:

Managerial Roles After MBA/PGDM at PIBM

  • Titles: Common designations include Management Trainee, Business Analyst, Associate Consultant, Relationship Manager, Marketing Executive, Financial Analyst.
