It is a difficult task to compare the two as each offers a promising career. The big debate is not which one is better; rather it should be what the aptitude of the candidate is? People who have an eye for detail and are numerically-oriented can go for MBA Finance, while those who have excellent communication skills and have an outgoing personality are suited to a career in Marketing. Essential traits required for either field are:
For Finance- Quantitative skills, financial skills, Understanding of accounting and financial management principles, Analytical skills
For Marketing- Strategic thinking, Tolerance for ambiguity, Flexi

A perfect salesman always has a job in the market so the ranking is hardcore sales & marketing (sales), financial product sales, core finance (good to have 55-60% as minimum demands, HR as HR is not so 'profit making 'part of the organisation and the present market is turmoiling.

Regardless of which sector you join, what you need to first identify is that which department interests you the most. Is it Finance, Marketing, Operations or Human Resources? Each one of the industries that you have listed have each one of the departments mentioned. Depending on your innate abilities, skills & attitude - knowledge then will be an easy choice to make and enroll for.

I don't know if Australia provides the best job opportunities or not but what I have heard is that there are strict policies against foreigners. But there are some good universities as well. As far as MBA is concerned, the best countries in the world map are USA and UK and after them, Germany and India are in the queue.
