MCA Eligibility

Admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) normally requires the completion of an undergraduate degree in any field and the inclusion of mathematics as one of the subjects from 10+2 or earlier in the course of study, obtaining a minimum overall score in the qualifying exam in the range of 50-60%, though exact cutoffs might change from year to year. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year postgraduate course offered by the Central University of Haryana. Admission to this programme necessitates meeting specific criteria. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer applications from a recognised university, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or an equivalent grade (with a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates). Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology provides admission to MCA course based on CUET UG score. 85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through UPCET Counselling and remaining 15% seats of approved intake will be filled under Management Quota. For admission to the MCA programme at GITAM Institute, candidate must have passed in any degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and Mathematics/Statistics at +2 level or degree level or equivalent examination. Apart from this, candidates need to clear any of the APICET, or GITAM GAT entrance test . Graduation final year students may also apply on a provisional basis. 

The eligibility criteria for the MCA programme at Central University of Himachal Pradesh is having a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (BCA) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (IT) or BA (Computer Science) or BA (IT) with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or its equivalent.

Candidates should have passed BSc (Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems, Software Science, Software Development) or BCA to apply for Bharathidasan University MCA course. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

The applicants seeking admission to MCA at Fergusson College must appear for the entrance like MAH MCA CET and score a good score. The students also have to full fill the basic eligibility criteria that is must have a graduation degree with 50% aggregate.
