You can surely apply for software engineering jobs after MCA from a recognized university. If you want to do M.Tech. in computer science field then you can do it after completion of MCA. You can't apply for M.Tech. just after BCA. Almost all major software companies do recruit MCA for the post of software executives which is offered to B.Tech. graduates.
You will have to apply off campus because most companies don't recruit MCA on campus. You can apply in TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc all major companies.
The eligibility criteria for the job in these companies is general throughout 60% academics i.e. 60% in 10th,12th,Graduation and Post Grad

Dear ghanshyam. you are 100% true. suppose without PG you joined job got experience that is ok. But at the time of promotion. organisations look higher qualifications most the time. so better to have higher qualifications in order to get promotions etc. i prefer you should have good qualifications. all the best.
