Getting 92% in Class 12 is a good achievement, but MCA admission depends on your graduation marks and the entrance requirements, not just your 12th score. LPU's regular MCA programme requires a relevant bachelor's qualification and qualifying LPUNEST, JEE Main or CUET, as applicable. Scholarships may be available based on graduation marks or other eligible criteria. Since 12th marks alone may not guarantee direct admission or an MCA scholarship, check the current eligibility and scholarship rules before applying.

According to the NIT Raipur MCA cutoff 2026, the OBC candidates under the All India quota need a rank of at least 845 to be considered eligible for admission. Candidates can check the table below to know the closing ranks for each round for this category.

After completing MCA, the salary can vary depending on technical skills, specialisation, internships and interview performance. At LPU, the School of Computer Applications currently reports a the highest package of INR30 Lacs and an average package of INR9.37 Lacs for the top 10% of placed students. The MCA curriculum also includes areas like AI, data science, cybersecurity and web development, along with projects and industry exposure. So, the degree gives a good starting point, but skills and practical experience matter a lot in deciding the actual salary.
