Manipal University Karnataka NEET PG Cutoff 2025 is acceptable for admission to the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, affiliated to MAHE for its MD course specialisations. The Karnataka NEET PG cutoff 2024 for MD in General Medicine for the General AI category was 2293, according to the last round closing ranks. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff was also the same.

The Calicut University NEET PG Cutoff 2025 has been released till Round 2 for all categories under the All India quota. For the General category candidates under the All India quota, the hardest and the easiest course for admission was MD in Radio Diagnosis and MD in Anatomy, with the last round cutoff being 79 and 71227, respectively.

The CCSU NEET PG Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MD and MS courses for the General AI category. As per the 2025 Round 2 closing cutoff, the ranks ranged between 2471 to 67403 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the course specialisations, the hardest for admission was MD in General Medicine, followed by MS in General Surgery, with the cutoff ranks being 2471 and 4903, respectively.

The CCSU UP NEET PG Cutoff 2025 is applicable for admission to the MDS, MD programme. Students who are aiming for admission at CCSU for the aforementioned courses have to qualify as per the UP NEET PG Cutoff rank. According to the CCSU UP NEET PG Cutoff in the year 2022, admission to MD in Community Medicine programme was at 1589 in Round 3 for the General AI category. For the General HS category, the cutoff was the same.

The CSJMU NEET PG Cutoff 2025 was released for various categories, like General, OBC, SC, etc., belonging to the Home State quota. For the General HS category candidates, the last round closing cutoff ranged from 49 to 5442, wherein the hardest and the easiest programme were, MD in General Medicine and MD in Physiology, respectively. The CSJMU NEET PG Cutoff 2025 has been released for all categories till Round 2 for the All India quota candidates. The CSJMU Cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category, according to the NEET PG cutoff 2025 ranged between 2284 to 109847 for admission to the MD and MS courses.
Among all the courses, MD in Radio Diagnosis was the toughest course for admission, with a cutoff of 2284. On the other hand, MD in Physiology was the easiest course, with 109847 being the last round cutoff rank.

The Gujarat NEET PG Cutoff 2025 was released for all categories belonging to the All India quota up to Round 2. The Gujarat MD Cutoff 2025 in Round 2 fell in the ranges of 1104 to 62435 for the OBC AI category, wherein MD in Radiology was the toughest course for admission.
For the MS course, the cutoff went from 1026 to 15434, according to the Round 2 closing cutoffs. Among all the MS courses, MS in Orthopaedics was the toughest programme for admission.

MD programs basically focuses on providing specialised training in non-surgical medical specialities, while DM programs are designed for super-specialization in medical subspecialties.
Both degrees require a strong educational background and clinical experience, but DM programs have typically a more significant research component and are longer in duration.
