The total number of seats available for MD in Microbiology at AIIMS Hyderabad is 02. Usually, AIIMS provides a very limited number of seats for MD courses. Additionally, AIIMS Bibinagar offers one to two seats for MD courses. Check out the names of the specialsiations with their seat intake in the following table:

No, students can not become surgeons after completing their MD course from AIIMS Bibinagar. The MD course is basically a research-focused or diagnosis-focused qualification. After completing the MD course, a student can become a Medical Researcher, Specialist Physician, etc. To become a surgeon, students are required to complete a Master of Surgery (MS) programme or equivalent, followed by a surgical residency and potentially a super-specialty MCh degree.

The first-year subjects offered at MD Anaesthesia at AIIMS Bibinagar are the foundational subjects that help students to understand the core of the course. Further, the first year of the MD Anesthesia course includes Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology of anaesthetic drugs, Basic Biochemistry, etc. These subjects are closely related to anaesthesia and make students aware of the concerning fluid and electrolyte balance.

AIIMS Bibinagar offers MD programmes in various specialties, with new departments and seats are limited in number. Moreover, the specialisation that the course offered are in two fields: clinical and non-clinical specialsiations offered. The names of these specialsiations are as follows:
Clinical Specialties:

The total seat intake for the MD course at AIIMS Hyderabad is 12. To get a seat in the MD course, applicants are required to complete their MBBS degree. The candidate has also secured aggregate marks of not less than 55% (relaxation applies for SC/ST or other reserved categories). It is compulsory to clear the INI CET exam, followed by a counselling process.
