This college offers students good placements and the students can start applying for placement from their 5th semester onwards. Almost 97% of students get placed in the campus selections of CSE branch and also for remaining branches. The highest package offered is INR 30LPA and the average package is INR 8-9LPA.
The top companies which are recruiting candidates are Google, Microsoft, tcs, HCL, Amazon, Infosys in CSE branch. Similarly, Tech Mahindra, TATA elxis, TCS, Wipro are recruting in core branches. There is also more internship oppurtunities for the students who were in this college.

Undoubtly TKM is also an good college but whenever it comes to MEC College that is Model Engineering College then generally it is considered to be an better option and founded to be a better one than TKM College. In the current year of 2022 the NIRF ranking MEC College is found to be the 3rd among engineering college in the Kerala State. On the other hand TKM was found to be 8th position in the NIRF ranking. The MEC offers a better placement than TKM colleges just because of its excellency of the students in the different fields. Modal engeneering college M.Tech and specialisations. The candidate can apply for this college by appearing in Graduate aptitude test in engeneering ( GATE ) examination and also he must have to secure minimum of 50% in 10th and +2 examinations and also 6.5 CGPA in the previous B.Tech or degree cours they pursued.
The GATE entrance examination application starts in the month of August and it lasts for 2 months. The admit card will be released in the month of January and the examination will be in February.

MEC Kochi is an excellent college that not only focuses on education but also works on extra curricular activity of students. However if we will talk about the placements in MEC College then you will find it to be an emerging one. The college received many offers from multinational company. CSE branch receives the highest packages in this college . As per the recent record the highest package offered was around INR 31 LPA. MEC KOCHI offers various M.Tech courses. The student has to secure a minimum of 50% in their 10th and +2 examinations and 6.5 CGPA in the previous examination they appeared like B.Tech or any other degree. MEC Kochi offers various courses in B.Tech and M.Tech. The minimum eligibility to get a seat in this college is 50% in 10th and 12th examinations from any board of education. Additionally the student has to appear and get a required cutoff ranks for particular branch they are selecting.
