While the college doesn't provide such formal services for placement. The students generally opt for government institutions after graduation. However, some students reviwers have stated that the lowest salary package is 5 LPA. It is also required 1 year mandatory internship within the college after MBBS programme and after that you can pursue higher studies or join some hospital as junior resident.

In terms of placement, K.D. Medical college doesn't provide any formal placement services. The graduate students has to independently and individually pursue job opportunities. While, many students opt for government institutions because of its stability. On the other hand, some graduates pursue higher studies or join private hospitals as residents.

K. D. Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is generally considered a tier- 2 medical college in India. The college has garnered 4 and more than 4 stars on all the educational websites such as shiksha.com, google reviews etc. The reviewers has specified that college does have good infrastructure and healthy patient load for exposure of students.

The application fee for MS programme in this college is around Rs. 2000 followed by the tution fee, miscellaneous charges, security deposit, hostel fees etc. The fee structure for 2022 -2023 batch for MS programme was.
Tution fees :- Rs. 21, 63, 946
Single occupancy AC hostel with mess fees :- Rs. 3,000,00
Other fees :- Rs. 1, 28, 400
Security Deposit (Refundable) :- Rs. 5, 000, 00

The latest cutoff could be 400 + score. It is better to aim for 450 because of the high competition. The cutoff increases on yearly basis. For example last year that is in 2023 the cutoff was 350 + score. It is better to keep higher margin.

The cutoff for each year increases in K.D. Medical College Hospital and Research Centre like last to last year that is in 2022 it was above 330 then in 2023 it went above 350. So, according to this increase in cutoff every year this time it is speculated that it will be 400 + score.

The entrance exams that are accepted here at this medical college are NEET and UP NEET. NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance test) is a national level medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in various medical Colleges across India while UP NEET is a state specific entrance exam which is only for admissions in Uttar Pradesh.

Suppose a student has already taken admission to a medical college either through the All India NEET Counselling or through any other state counselling for NEET. In that case, they will not be allowed to participate in the Tripura NEET counselling. In fact, the candidate will not be eligible to participate in the further rounds of that particular state or national level counselling as well. This is done to ensure that a single candidate does not occupy multiple seats and all aspirants get a fair chance of admission.
