No, you cannot join Medical College Kolkata directly. Admission to Undergraduate (UG) courses like MBBS is based on the marks obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam, and to Post Graduate (PG) courses like MD and MS, the admission is based on the marks obtained in the NEET PG entrance exam. NEET UG exam is mandatory for MBBS admission in Calcutta or India. Hence you have to appear for NEET entrance exam and apply to college using your NEET scorecard. Students must have cleared NEET Entrance exam for admission in the college.

As it is an MBBS college it does not provide you with placement opportunities like engineering colleges. It provides you with a 1 year stipend based internship in their own hospital after that if they find you perfect, they can hire you. The average package offered to these college students is around 8 LPA. (approx.) The highest packages goes upto 10-12 lakh per annum.
