The GPAT syllabus generally comprises nineteen subjects. Questions from important topics of these subjects are generally seen in the exam as per the previous year trend. There are 5 five sections in GPAT 2026 exam namely Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Allied Subjects, Pharmaceutics & Allied Subjects, Pharmacognosy & Allied Subjects, Pharmacology & Allied Subjects, and other subjects. All the 19 topics are bifurcated among these 5 sections in the exam. There will be objective-type questions in the entrance exam.

No. It is mandatory for a candidate to have a hard copy of their admit card and carry it to the exam centre. No electronic devices are allowed while appearing for the exam. It is mentioned in the guidelines of NTA that the GPAT admit card hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the GPAT admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the GPAT test centre. Candidates failing to produce the GPAT admit card at the test centre in hard copy format will not be allowed to centre the test centre.
