There will be two types of NTA NEET-UG counseling for medical courses.
1- MCC counseling process for AQI of 15 percent seats.
2- 85 percent of seats are reserved for State Quota in NEET UG counseling. There are four rounds in NEET counseling I. e. Round 1, Round 2 of AIQ, and Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the 4-rounds, 3-rounds will be conducted online by MCC. Steps: First, Complete the registration process, and then pay Fees, NEET-UG 2022 counseling choice filling and locking, Round-1 seat allocation and announcement of results, Reporting to the allotted College, then for Round-2 net vacant seats are released, NEET-UG counseling round-2 registration is not necessary for already registered students and fresh choice filling for round-2, Round-2 of seat allocation, Reported to college in preparation for round-2. On the basis of NEET-UG 2022 results, admissions to medical courses under AIQ deemed universities, and ESIC/AFMS colleges in the country are decided by the MCC NEET 22 counseling process. The exam qualification is a requirement for admission to these courses like MBBS or BDS. Steps for Registration: Go to the MCC website, Click on the UG counseling tab, The link for registration will be displayed, and Click on it, Enter the required information and register, login and fill in the application form, Upload all documents, pay the registration fee, and submit, Take a printout of the application form.

You have not mentioned the category, so it is difficult to predict an accurate college. Your son has no chance of getting into a government medical college in Maharashtra for an MBBS course because he belongs to the general category. It has been observed that in previous years, for almost all of the MBBS colleges in Maharashtra, the MBBS cut-off score was under 40,000 for general category candidates. However, your son is eligible to get admission into these government colleges.
