After qualifying the MP TET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. MP TET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the MP TET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the schools of Madhya Pradesh. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The Madhya Pradesh government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the needs of the state.

Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to qualify MP TET Paper 1. Candidates planning to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to qualify for MP TET Paper 2. Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to qualify both papers. The candidates have to apply for the papers according to their eligibility set by the board. The educational qualification criteria has been given below for the candidates:

The MP TET exam consists of 150 questions worth a total of 150 marks. The duration for the exam is 150 minutes. The exam is conducted online, and it includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into 5 sections, each containing 30 questions. Notably, there is no negative marking in this exam.
Candidates applying for the primary teacher role for students in Classes 1 to 5 are required to participate in the MP TET Paper 1 Exam.
